This past weekend I traveled to New Orleans for the first time. I was visiting the city for the 39th Annual New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. While there, I took some time to appreciate the architecture and history of the city.
Above: Jackson Square on a sunny Sunday afternoon. A historic park and landmark in the French Quarter, also known as Place D’Armes.
Above: While I waited for the street car to take me to the Garden District, I snapped this photo from the center of the tracks.
Above: On my last day, I took a walk by myself through the Quarter down many streets that looked like this. The American flag on the balcony made me stop and pause.

Ryan, Congrats on the new blog. I heard about it through Ross. It rocks! I love those pictures. Beautiful! I want to go visit now myself. Good luck! I’ll be checking back!
