  2. My father was born in Vranov, Czechoslovakia in 1939. He does not remember his father, who was imprisoned at Auschwitz in April of 1942 and was killed there two months later. Somehow my brave grandmother fled to the US with a toddler in tow. I have always wanted to visit that part of the world, to explore and hopefully connect with my ancestors on some level. How I envy you being able to be there. It looks magnificent. Thank you for sharing your photos.
